Water-based intumescent paint for fire protection
Water-based intumescent paint for fire protection on metal structures, columns and structures in normal and pre-stressed reinforced concrete, concrete slabs, masonry supports of different types.
In case of fire, the product protects the support by forming a thick layer of black foam with a cellular structure, non-combustible and mechanically resistant, which acts as thermal insulation.
Directions for use
The thickness of application varies depending on the degree of protection (class R-REI) desired. These thicknesses and the relative degree of protection, which vary depending on the support (iron and cement) are listed in the certificates.
Air drying depends from the applied thickness. At a temperature of 25°C, in a well ventilated environment, a wet film coat of 600µ is overcoatable after some hours and completely dry after about 24 hours.
Storage
Storage temperature should be between 5°C and 25°C! Protect from freezing!
Storage life 12 months in original unopened buckets.
